Just James Jewellery - Terms of Sale and Returns/Refunds Policy

Ordering:
By placing an order with Just James Jewellery, you are confirming your acceptance of Just James Jewellery Terms of Sale. If you do not agree with the following Terms, please do not place your order.
Payment Options:
Pay securely online with PayPal™ using your debit card, credit card or bank account.
NOTE: You DO NOT need a PayPal™ account to use this service.
Online Credit Card Security:
Your financial information stays with PayPal™. Your credit, debit card and bank account numbers are not passed on to Just James Jewellery.
Delivery Charges:
1st Class Royal Mail Delivery is free. 1st Class Recorded/Signed for service is an additional £1 (April 2010 - subject to change). If you require next-day delivery, or Special delivery, please email me before you make your order and I will invoice you separately.
Despatch and Delivery:
I aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours, upon receipt of cleared payment, Monday to Friday (excluding UK Bank Holidays). I will notify you as soon as possible if a delay is anticipated in sending your goods. All of my items will be dispatched First Class Delivery via Royal Mail.
Unless you have chosen the Recorded/Signed for service from Royal Mail, all claims for non-delivery or lost in transit will be dealt with through their claims process, which could take 15 working days to resolve and is totally in the Control of Royal Mail and over which we have no influence.
The optional Recorded/Signed for service from Royal Mail not only insures your items (up to £38) but allows you to track your parcel through their system and speeds up any claims process. Whilst this option is not compulsory, I recommend that you choose it as it will protect you from uninsured loss.
Custom-made items will be dispatched within 24 hours of completion, upon receipt of cleared payment.
Confidentiality & Privacy:
In accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act, I only collect sufficient information from you so that I can process your order. I will not contact you for any reason other than that related to your order or in answering any question that you may have about my handmade jewellery. I will never sell, share or trade your personal information with third parties.
Returns & Refunds:
Goods are packaged carefully, but in the unlikely event that you receive anything damaged, please email me to request a Returns Authorisation and when received, return the item(s) within 10 days of receipt for replacement. If you have chosen the Recorded/Signed for service from Royal Mail, all claims for loss or damage will be processed throught their procedures.
Distance Selling Regulations:
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you may return any item (except custom-made) for any reason within 7 days of receiving it, provided that it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging and in new condition. Items returned in used condition or in packaging other than in which they were despatched, will be subject to review and may not qualify for a full refund. Please email me for a Returns Authorisation. Cusomers will be responsible for the return postage costs of items sent back to me.
Under no circumstances can earrings be returned unless faulty, due to hygiene regulations.
N.B. Custom-made items may only be returned if faulty or damaged.
Your Statutory rights are unaffected by these Terms of Sale.
Disputes:
In the unlikely event that I am unable to settle any dispute that may arise - the laws of England will apply to any formal dispute process entered into.
